Thanks for sharing that! You don’t know how much I needed to hear that right now.

Oh, and we brought the little guy home today. Both my daughter and grandson are doing great. Lots to be thankful for.

  2. I'm right there with ya on that one. My oldest daughter is 20, and pregnant with our first grandchild. She's not due til June, but I'm only 47.

But you are young enough to enjoy a grandchild and pass along your knowledge, as well as provide memories for another generation. Consider yourself lucky!

Your welcome, but I somehow feel you would figure it all out! Congratulations and enjoy.

So, I know this is OT for the board as well as this thread, but my kids new daily ended up in an upcoming Hallmark movie last week. Kind of a cool deal since he has only been driving it a couple months total now. Someone involved in the movie saw the car sitting outside his work a couple hours after it was decided they needed a roadster vette for a scene in the movie. Apparently this is some romance movie so not many here will likely see it.

Oh, and no update on the truck project. New grandson has been keeping us all busy for the past couple weeks. :D

Hallmark? Romance? Yeah, I'll see it. Or sleep through it with my wife throwing remotes at me to stop my snoring. She doesn't miss a one of them and takes over the family big screen. Been known to waltz in and turn off Roadkill for them

  6. Come on @five-oh, we all know you're the chick-flick aficionado in your house and you're just passing it off as your wife's thing. Ain't nothin' wrong with being in touch with your inner-self.

Very cool and thanks for sharing! One thing I have definitely learned is that this life is a whole lot more about the people and the memories than something like these old cars. The cars make a cool backdrop for the stories, but that isn’t the focus overall.
