I am wondering about this too, anybody care to elaborate on the differences between F-1 and F-100 hubs, drums & backing plates?

i think the f200 are 6 lugs? as long as you have the 11 inch brakes they will bolt onto the early spindles with an adapter kit, which im doing on my T. the backing plates on 56? and up dont bolt right onto the early spindles.

'48-'52 F1 hub has the drum mounting flange further to the outside of the vehicle, effectively giving a slightly wider track.F1 drums have a slight dome shape to them,'53-'56 F100 drums are flat accross the face. Not sure about later models.
F1 and F100 drums and hubs are not interchangeable, backplates up to '56 are.
