Very cool... I like the subtle chop, and the 60's look. Most chops go too far and the trucks look so front-heavy to begin with that it really destroys the overall aesthetic. What's the history on yours?
Well, my Dad bought the truck in 62' in Anaheim. He drove it through high school and up til 68' when he went to Vietnam. Just before leaving, he traded it for a 67' Jag. Once he returned from Nam, he tried to buy the truck back, but the guy wouldn't sell. Sometime around 73' or 74', the truck was taken to Russ Meeks here in Oregon to be rebuilt/updated. The guy that owned it was a drunk and passed away years ago, all the time never paying Russ for any work. My Dad tried to buy the truck back until his death in 2003, but was unsuccessful. My wife and I kept going into Russ' shop and finally convinced him to sell the truck back to us after 40 years! So, now back in our possession, we are restoring it to it's former glory.
