    Were can I get good Exhuast dumps with butterfly caps, that will not warp out?

    If you are talking about the remote control cut outs, I don't think any exist that don't leak and make your ride sound like a POS. they've been selling them for 40 years and have never improved them. They are junk.

    In this neighborhood they spell it Z A U S T [​IMG]

    I was thinking, could you use a pair of old throttle bodies for this? plug the idle air passage thingy and control them with a little lever or something?

    I doubt it. You can't get a seal between the collector flanges without a thick gasket. Ant type of butterfly valve will leak with those temperatures. IMHO

    I was wondering about two concentric pipes, one nested in the other with a hole that lines up with the 'loud' pipe when the inner tube is rotated. [​IMG] Just a thought toward a low-tech approach ...

    Try a set from marine store. That's what I got and they work and seal great. I even put power seat screw motors on them and used a power window switch to reverse the polarity.
