  10. Ya and when you tell them what you started with, they will think your making it sound worse then it was, or "then you should have used those parts for restore one...." haha!

I love this thing! That's what I say!

  11. Yeah, well before getting a felony smacked on ya, I'd just tell em how you bought it from a museum and all the extra parts you didn't use, you melted down to make hot rod parts :D

I cant believe that you built that thing from a four door...since christmas. In your free time with two jobs.

I picked up my custom plymouth about the same time and I havent had time to rebuilt the master cylinder yet.

I am not worthy of this site...Awesome car - love the Y block.

Thanks again guys, you're really too kind.

Chop is a hair over 5.5" over a stock coupe height, I had to take a little more out of the B pillars as the 4dr ones are taller by about 3/4"

I'm not sure on a color yet... probably just primer for now, as cool as it looks in pics, this body is still pretty rough to be smoothing out and painting shiny, at least right away that is. Maybe a low-buck drag/lakes car inspired brush-paint job? maybe just the same brown primer I've been using to cover the bare metal areas. we'll see...

paperdog, it came with a good 4dr title, but I think I'm gonna hang it on the wall and push it through the DMV as a coupe with the number on the frame. It's *ALMOST* still visible. One of the few benefits of living in NY state.
