have the dragstrip in between mishawaka and elkhart ( Osceola) by the hummer plant .. go to das essen house east of town and pack your gut and clean out your wallet ( they have car shows out there too )

  3. Watch out that you don't get run over by an RV! There are more RVs, campers, trailers, etc. built in Elkhart IN than anywhere else in the world.

  6. Das Essenhaus (Middlebury, In, on US20 14 miles East of downtown Elkhart) car show is Thursday nights if memory serves right.

Better be hungry if you try the restaurant.

  7. The Amish food is awesome. It's family style, so go hungry! It's well worth the money. You could hit the car museum in Auburn right off interstate 69 if I remember correctly.

Only bad thing about the Cider Run, is he is going to be in northeast IN. and the show is in southwest IN. all the way south and west across the state.

you may as well go check out Ray Shuler and his collection. Very interesting guy and he usually has 75 cars. Most are HAMB friendly. All are for sale.

Bobwop is right about Ray last time I was there he had almost 90 cars including a Barris chevy. Don't forget about the studebaker museum in south bend. I live right next to and work in Elkhart.

When you're in Elkhart you're almost in South Bend. The Studebaker Museum there is great.

About an hour and a half from Elkhart is Auburn, there are the ACD Museum,NATMUS Museum and the Early Ford V8 museum, the Hoosier Air Museum, and the National Military History Center, and the Kuse Automotive and Carriage Museum.

The V8 museum, and history center, and the Kruse Automotive museum are at the same location just off I69. The ACD,and NATMUS museums, are just outside of downtown Auburn.
Here are a few of the websites for some of these places.
