Anyone have suggestions on a good reliable fan controller? Single fan. I see many units advertised from $25.00 to $125.00. I think I like the adjustable style. Most sensors kick in at 180 degrees, but I think I might like it to have it start at 170 degrees. I have a pusher fan on a 350 Chev & am not sure if the fan will handle it. It seems to me that the early start up might help. Am I wrong??? I also lean toward the sensor that screws into the block. Another feature is the type with built in relay. Too many options/decisions. What do you think?

I've used controllers from DC Controls in the past with great success. I'm having trouble finding their web site though.

We used two different fan controllers over the past couple of years and neither lasted 5000 miles.........we finally installed a toggle switch instead.

Have had great success with the SPAL controller and twin fan set up. Turns the first fan on at a low speed and then increases it as required. Second fan comes on when in traffic etc.

    Worth the money.
