Here are the recent pics of what I ended up doing to the El-Raunchero. Once it is all one color it will be easier to see the shape of it.

It does look tall in the pics. I don't think I will chop it. It has been through enough already...

Very NICE Chris! I love that thing, It looks similar to the 60's Chev pickup but not quite, is it your own concoction?

Everything but the shredder...yuck! But it works as a "raunchero" I suppose. I'm sure with paint, and after it's lowered with different wheels I'll like it some.

To all you guys who find the time to bash on someones hard work. Why dont you keep it to yourselves. you can plannily see this guy has put a lot of hard work in this thing. so why not commend him on a job well done.Even if its not to your liking or taste. Just my two cents. But it seems there to much bashing on alot of peoples hard work.Or do you just post to get your post count up.

  12. Kind of looks like those 57 dodge trucks that went up against chevy cameo's. Looks real good Chris. How is biz going.

I like it...looks good to me..a little paint, lower it,and something different in tires and caps....but,you're gonna do that anyway, right? The only add ons I see are the spots, the rear is basically stock? Or do I not know shit about Mopars?

Stance is everything...Mai-ki-ki-'s version is better, but it's still tall. A chop would -make- that car, but It would be hard. Those fins have always looked like an afterthought to me though. I guess you can't seriously judge a project untill it's done.

  21. Looks like a hell of a lot of work, it never ceases to amaze me the amount of skill & talent there is on this forum.

As a relative newcomer, I have missed the start of this project, what was it originally? A wagon?

    Great work.

I like the look of it. That is really a lot of hard work, good job. It looks really cool in the photoshop lowering.
    Keep it up,

Chop? That would be a pain with all that curved glass! Plus I personally think they look too short with a chop... all squatty and missing the personality that the curved glass brings to them. Here's a pic of one from BTTF's.

I think the El Raunchero is cool. (but i'm biased.. darn parts car err truck) Looks clean now, IMHO. Good work!

You have put in alot of work. Some people just like to have something that looks like everybody elses car. you are obviously not one of them . I respect that.

-Hey Maiki, just for kicks, can you tilt the back of the window frame on the door forward "\" to match the back of the cab. That way the door windows dont look so square and out of place. and run the chrome strip from where it starts by the door to the bottom of the triangle rear lights, instead of below it. thanks Chaco

I REALLY like that chrome treatment! It makes the fins look not so damn tall. I like those caps, my pops had a set on a '59 elky when he was in HighSchool.
