As you can tell by the time of this post, the excitement of getting close is getting to me.
I haven't been this excited about a car in 30 years! People have been asking me what I'm going to do when this project is done and I responded in the only appropriate way I can......drive it! Like all the other cars Pete and I have owned, this is no trailer queen.

Malcolm- The Sedan will be back at my shop tomorrow and I will be working on it all day. Today is just a little mop up at Pete's and then transporting to my shop.

    OK, who's who?
    1. Rick- handsome devil in blue t shirt?
    2. Pete- aging legend in maroon t shirt?
    3. Eric- quiet, unassuming genius in plain white t shirt?
    4. Guy in E & B t shirt/beard?
    5. Guy who looks like Pete in long sleeve grey shirt?

    Kiwi Kev- Yes we are!

    Thanks Greg.

    Stu Padasso-
    1, 2 & 3 are correct.
#4 is Tim Mings aka Merciless Mings.
    #5 is Sheriff John.
You forgot to mention the "invisible man" behind the camera, Bill.

Aging legend? I'm sure Pete will be thrilled to read that. Well at least you described me correctly.:D

I'm just getting home. I wish it was 1982 again. I wouldn't be as sore or tired.:( It's a good thing the body produces adrenalin to keep us going.
No photographer today. Maybe tomorrow. It is looking more complete every hour:) (nothing takes a minute).

A friend of mine read the post about me being sore and tired so he call me up and said I should do what he does and take that little blue pill. I said I don't need that crap. He then said he was talking about Alleve.

Enough of that. I just picked up the windshield and I will be picking up the seats today. I probably should have taken the tape off for the picture but I'm going to wait until the sealer is completely dry.

I have been helping a friend down here get ready for the Hot Rod deal and it has been 2 steps forward and 1 step back. Monday he was taking the car, On a trailer, to get a new soft top put in and it fell off the trailer!!!!!! Don't ask me how??? Really buggered up the grill and front fenders. It's a 34 coupe. I told him I could fix it in about 2 days but he wanted the insurance to fix it sooooo it is in the shop. Our buddy owns the shop and promised it would be ready Thursday. What a deal!!!

    Rick,
Looks great so far.....Is it going to run as hard (or harder!) than the original build? We can sense your excitement!

Sheeesh .... you guys are so impatient !!

The E & B '32 project is getting down to the wire and the "to do" list is much shorter. I'm sure Rick will post later with details, but wiring is close to complete, doors are on and squared up, battery box and cable was completed by the end of the day and so on. Photos show Tim and Rick hanging the doors. Pete and Sheriff John were behind the scenes, taking care of wiring, door adjustment, parts runs, etc. Pete's cat also made an appearance to check the work.
