Technical Duntov 30/30 in a Big Block 454?

Has anyone every tried this?

I'm wondering if the extra cubes would mellow this cam out.. Not going to do this but just wondering..

That would be a high dollar camshaft, as they were only made for a SBC, and never for a BBC

 

The answer is yes bigger cubes milder effect ( all other tings being equal) . Can you get one ? Yes I’m sure a cam grinder could grind you one BUT cam design has come a long way , get a new design. Tell everyone it’s a special 30/30 for a BBC and they only made five.....

WHY.....would any sane person want to "mellow out" a Duntov 30-30 cam lick?! Probably one of THE most copied cam sound ever! J/K
If you can't figure out the duration @050 and the LSA nnumber I know it can be copied.
Probably wouldn't even 'stutter' though.
