Dropped uprights with a disc brake system???

    Ive got 52 ford with fatman uprights and im looking at getting a wilwood disc brake kit for it, anyone know if this will work???

    Wondering the same thing about a '50 Olds. It looks like you would need to fabricate new brackets that hold the calipers as the calipers will be in a different position with the dropped uprights. Doesn't appear to be too difficult given the correct material. Contacted Wilwood but really didn't expect a response from them and wasn't disappointed.:rolleyes:

    I did dropped uprights on my 41 Plymouth. Fatmans dropped uprights. I put discbrakes on it from Brake Tech Solutions.... I only put them on because I wanted to, I didn't have to.... Dropped uprights only change the point where the spindles mount. Everything else should be the same....

    If you have mustangII front end, sometimes the stock calipers have a thread in hose that will hit the upper balljoint. you will need to change to I think a Banjp type caliper hose connection...
