Not really a makeover...more like creative placement of adhesive backed advertisements.

I promise some update pics VERY soon, I've been recruted for wedding duties.. Meanwhile the chassis is going back together and body will be on soon!!

    On another note...

A few posts back I mentioned that I had never been in a 32 ford before. Well about a week ago I got a call from my buddy Norm asking "When do you start work?"

    "About Ten" I said

"Be there a half hour early..."

He shows up in this, and he let me DRIVE it :D

Talk about lighting a fire under my ass. I can't wait to get my car done!!! I scramble to get certain stuff off to machine and whatnot, then Norm shows up at my shop again in his roadster. He says he embarrassed a fellow car guy had never been in a 32 roadster so we were gonna fix that. He let me drive! :D:D that's a pal there!

Man, I have never driven a '32 Roadster either but nobody is ringing my phone! That awesome dude and it's definitely a needed boost in the ass sometimes. That's all I have to do is hear about one person going out for a drive and I start kicking myself in the head for not have my shit done. I am excited about the Darth Walter coupe. I like to see the average Joe's build their cars.

I've been getting out to the shop more. I think I have Lux Blue to thank for some "art" on my body....

I also have Lux to thank for helping me figure out some Front drum issues, and letting me know about central machine in austin. Lets see, got the steering arms bent and the front and rearend together for good. Movin on to subrails, hopefully the body will be on in the next week :) Inane picture posts keep me motivated...

I hate the steering hoop. It doesn't jive with the car. I'll figure something out..

Just some temporary cross pieces so I can put the body on and get permanent mounts and a floor...

Lucky me I learned to drive on a stock 32 5 window .....with don't cry..a snow plow rig in the front.. and even worse .... the trunk cut off and a "Homemade" pickup body in the back. I Was all of 12 yrs old and it was used for snowplowing out my Grandmothers yard and even then I knew "Somebody" had messed up a classic. But yours is looking a whole lot better :p

Thats a nice piece of "Art" you've put onto the window panel.

That panel looks much better in your hands than amongst the shit in my garage ;)

Paulie-Fill and drill that arm-make it look similar to Your wishbones. easy work, looks bitchin, makes it more betterer, and it will "fit the style".

    You can doo eeet!

Hahaha!!! Keep telling the Little Miss that!!! Man I wished I had a car done when I got married, it would have made it all the better.

You're making great strides so I think that you will be in good shape when the big day comes. You live in Austin and from what I can see, it's magical. I wouldn't doubt that if it was needed, all the help you need would ride in on magical Unicorns to the tune of Hell Awaits by Slayer!!! Get 'em!!!!!

Man, that is one cool Model "A" you are building. I have a '31 "A" Coupe on pne pf Bleed's Acehole Frames. Drivetrain is a Marine Ford Y-Block that is complete from the aluminum oil pan to the two air filters on the side draft carbs ! Not a Hemi, but looking forward to driving soon.

You are sitting pretty my friend Dreddybear. The car is looking pretty fucking Rad. PhotoChopped it for you. Not a crazy hammered chop but certainly chopped.
