Drag Slicks

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by superstockcatalina, Jun 3, 2008.

  1. i need help, i know hurst makes 7 inch wide pie crust cheater slicks...but my 65 catalina doesnt have such wide rear wheelwells....

7 inches might rub quite abit .. i also know they used to have really skinny slicks way back and wasnt sure if they still make them, that way when i run them to the strip near me and car shows they will look like and be as narrow as the stock tires up front but bite better, kinda sleeper. oh, and i run 14 inch steelies but can get 15's for the back which im sure ill have to. so do they make any cheaters 7" or skinnier?

The new Radir/Mickey Thompson slicks may be the answer. The tread pattern is kind of lame but on a full fender car it wont matter as much.
