History Drag cars in motion.......picture thread.

Hey POPSTAGE2, I liken your pic to the "calm before the storm" idea. Your staged,(cause the beam has just been broken) the line lock is on, and the car is hunched down ready to explode off the line in a blast of fury like the big Buicks were known for. LOVE this picture, man! Love it!

 

Take all of these absolutely bichin pictures and put 'em in a book. It would sell a million copies!!!!Shit, if I knew anything about that kind of stuff I'd try it!!!!

 

I'm on a dial-up at home, and have NO internet access at work-- but I've seen every page of this tread. Just takes a ridiculous amount of dedication (and patience-- some of these pages take forever to load)!

Son of a bitch,I've been trying for days to get pics on that were not tiny thumbs.Tried resizing on scanner,photobucket,making bigger copies and still a tiny photo.Searched threads,read many ways to do it and nothing works.This piece of shit computer is going out the window.
OK,feel better.The only way I can get it bigger is click on the photo and use zoom to get it bigger.

Slick Vic, have you seen the footage of Veney Vega in American Nitro? opening scene, it breaks the fastest mile per hour record for bb/fc 6.71 @212mph at fremont.

I was at a Buick meet this last summer and had this guy sign them.
He was the vice prez of Motor wheels Co. in the 60's & 70's and was the guy that designed them. (& gave them to Jim Bell of
KENNE-BELL for sponsorship for use on this car)
Motor wheels Co. made most of the ralley style wheels that are on our beloved muscle cars and this guy had everything to do with it.

After seeing this site & all the fun you guys seem to have, think I'll hang out here. Hell, you may even talk me into building a hotrod!

quiker et`s 6.86..6.70 something, before he broke the MPH record.
