Is there a good way to remove the door seal without messing up the paint? The seal I used is to thick, and I really have to slam the doors hard to get them to catch.
I've tried adjusting them without success. It's not as bad in the summer when the seals are warm but a bugger in the colder weather. Thanks

  2. If your seals are new, they will finally get eaiser .as you close doors more...All new seals I have installed are very stiff when new,,just give then time to get broken in,,,

  3. Follow the advice above ^^^^ if you used adhesive to install the rubber it will mess up the paint trying to remove it. HRP

  4. How long have the seals been in place? Like the others suggested, they should get easier once they take a set to the gaps in your car.

Seals have been on 5+ years, the painter said the same thing when they were new
but they've not gotten any better.
