Hot Rods Door latch difference 38-47 Ford pickup

I am looking at the kit (altman) for a bolt on bear claw latch and they list it as 40-47 only I was under the impression that they used the same latch from 38-47 in pickups. even the ones drake used to sell were listed as 38-47 Am I missing something ?

 

'38-'47 uses the same latch. In fact, Ford cars in the '30s and '40s use the same latch, only difference is the length of the linkage from the door handle to the latch itself.
