Heard last night from family Don Broyles passed Sat. eve .He was a long time friend and hot rodder will be missed.
Sorry to hear that. My condolences to the family. I first met Don in 1967 and purchased some Deuce parts from him. He was always a helping hand when I needed something. My friend has a Deuce roadster that came from him. Lynn
Sorry to here the bad news.. I'll have pleasant thoughts for him.. He's never been quite the same since his wife passed a couple years ago...
Sorry to be disrespectful I won't miss him He screwed over lots of people, including myself While my 32 3 window was in his shop getting a dropped axle, he swapped out my mint door handles for beat up ones I bought some 32 3 window doors from Mike Mayfield while in Gatlinburg Don offered to bring them back to Ohio for me since I was driving my Coupe He never gave them to me..... I know another guy that got screwed out of his whole 32 3 window I think if you ask around, you'll see what I mean Sorry
I understand your frustration, however, I feel it to be a little uncouth to speak ill will of a dead man. Rip, sir. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!

Also, on sad note. Pete Jerardi, long time friend of Don Broyles passed away sunday A.M. Services are friday @ 4 P.M. Pete was a long time car guy. All the cars he had were old school but of show quality. All that knew Pete will surely be missed.
I met Pete Jerardi at the 1977 Street Rod Nats in St Paul, when I had My chopped 40 Merc and Pete had his chopped, Carson topped 47 Ford convertible A year or so later I was in Dayton for work and Pete took me around to meet Don Broyles, Jim Walker and a great body man, whom I can't remember his name. (Moonglow clone) They all treated me as a long lost friend and were great guys, so this was very hard to hear. May both Don and Pete rest in peace. Mick
