Technical does a brake backing plate from 1964 c30 fit a 1965 Chevy c10 front drivers side?

does the backing plate from c30 fit a c10 65 chev 3/4 ton c3ois 1 ton plate isforleft front. help

 

Look up the shoes or drums for each series to see if they are the same. I don't think they swap side for side but could be wrong. You should join the Chevy C10 truck forum, separate from the HAMB forums.

 

C10 is half ton, C20 is 3/4 ton, C30 is one ton. The parts book is a bit confusing..but it looks like left and right are different, and 1/2 ton is different from 3/4 and 1 ton. And they changed over the years, but the year split is hard to figure out.

But if you rewrite your question so it's easier to understand, we might be able to help. It got garbled

 

Also the C30 should be 8-lug, C10 is 6. Which probably makes the swap a no-go.

 

hard to say, if he has 3/4 or 1/2 ton. he called it a C10 3/4 ton.
