Hey Loryder, I'm glad you like my car. It's a 1938 Dodge Coupe with a LaSalle grill and choped 5" by Joe Limones (chopper joe). It's Battle Ship Gray with Satin black scalops. Engine ia a 1952 Plymouth 230 flathead six with a split manifold, Tranny is original three speed, rear end is from a 1984 Olds Cutlass, front suspension is from a 1965 Chevy Corvair, Hydraulics front & back. Check out my photo albums to see more pics. See Ya! Randy
I actually started a "who knows this car" thread on this car a few years back! I first saw it parked behind the bowling alley in paso one night several years ago.. I fell in love on the spot. Then at the last paso, I actually met randy but he had his 27.. With a great sounding 6 in it I might add.. Anyway, randy thanks for being a nice guy and talking to me and my buddy a couple years ago!! I'm a style kings fan...
Hi Jkustom, Thanks for the props. I'm glad you are a fan, check out our Style Kings tread. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=284542&highlight=style+kings Here is a pic of my 27 in Paso. See Ya! Randy
Is that a 3 piece Fulton Sunvisor made into one piece? Everyone I've seen (so far!) has required a two piece windshield for the center support on teh visor...
Hi white 64, Yes, it's a three piece Fulton. I have it bolted to the roof, via a 1954 Chevy sun visor bracket. They reproduce them, Chev's of the 40's has them for about $35. Just bolt it to the center of your roof and make longer center braces to your Fulton Visor. I also use this same trick on cars with an opening windshield. Oh, by the way nice Plymouth Coupe you have. Flat head six with a T-5 perfect. Here is a pic of my 33 Dodge Pick-Up I'm currently building. Spitfire Six hooked to a T-5. See Ya! Randy
