I haven't been on in a long time. Family things and all... Anyway I'm back at getting my flathead built. I have a 48 distributor that I want to use a crab cap on. Which cap? 42? Are all crab caps the same as far as fitment? I see crab caps on ebay but no real designation as to what they fit. Which rotor? Same 42? I know there are differences there. Then I need to convert from the "bail" to the side clips. Mac's Auto (only place I can find them) shows 2 clip sets for the cap. Which one of those do I use? There is one set for 42 and another for 46-48. I'm assuming since I have a 48 dizzy I need the 46-8 clips. It would be nice to get the right stuff the first time. If this has been discussed before, a link to the thread would be great too. BTW I'm putting a Pertronics kit in it. And some other goodies on top. 4" stroke and 3 5/16" bore Scat crank, H beam rods, hot cam, etc. Thanks.
