One more picture, for a bump for this Tuesday. Thanks Sent from my SM-G920P using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Seen a diecast little red racer (#2) go for 65.00 bucks on eBay.. no damage on it but the paint could have used a little restoration.... I should have snagged it...
Good morning, Ed I really like your garage, great detail. You had me worried last week. When you said that it was your last one. I thought you were saying it was your last diecast post. Lol I had to drop the kids off at the daycare this morning. Sent from my SM-G920P using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Ed keep playing! We don't have to grow up. I tell the wife, kids, and Santa.,that I need more toy cars. Hay it works for me. Well a couple more drop offs at the daycare. Sent from my SM-G920P using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Here's a flathead powered track roadster from Rockford Illinois, and a bare metal fat fender custom from somewhere in Malaysia.
Hey Ron, That is some daycare facility. Even down to the pop up baby and a surprise for that hot nurse. Sorry, could not resist... great set up and in fine detail. Junji
Cool diorama Ed. Sorry, I forgot to take pictures for today. But I can post a few from my cellphone gallery. I took them at the western Maryland Rod Run. And the model train museum they had there. thanks Ron... Sent from my SM-G920P using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
This is a scene I did on my club's large scale model railroad modular layout. I used some of my collection of Hubley parts for the scrap yard, and some of my Hubley collection for the "used car" lot.
Picked up a bag of old Tootsie Toy 's a few weeks ago. The last Hurricane sent us a day of heavy rain so I spent it cleaning up and restoring several of the vehicles. Keeping a few for my collection.
Hey Dean, If that yellow RPU in that sales lot is anything like its big brother, (an added plus with the low miles) I will buy it today!!! (the real one, Ha!) What a great display of models. Every November, in our area, the local model railroad club always put on a display of trains with their detailed villages, cars, trucks and what not. But, it was nothing like your large scale display. Wow! Junji
Since it's not Tuesday, I thought I'd post. Here is an old F100 I made into a USB flash drive. The truck is packaged as "Goober's" truck from the Andy Griffith Show. I believe it probably showed up on screen during the later "in color" years... as I don't think Goober was ever a real character until then (his cousin, Gomer, was always the local mechanic during the black and white years)... IIRC.
Here's a 1/18 scale 32 roadster that I have. The car isn't bad but they screwed the doors up and have them opening backwards. Must have thought it was a 33? I plan on a small redo getting rid of the blue paint and cheesy flames.
I'll add the Beatnik Bandit this morning. Always been a Roth fan. Sent from my SM-G920P using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Wishes do come true. Some more parts and parts trucks came my way. A little rearrangement of the best original parts yields two complete tow trucks and some leftover parts that will inspire more custom creations.
Scored this diecast Ala Kart a few years ago sitting in a box in a toy shop while I was looking for some old space stuff my Son-in-law wanted.
