Rootlieb's website and phone number have not been working. Does anybody know anything?

I hope this is only temporary.

They may be affected by the California lock down as they are not an essential business.

Got a hood hinge from them thru Yogis a few weeks ago. Was a little slow shipping but got it.

Haven't tried calling but website won't come up. With any luck may just be technical problems.

Yuppers, website works and navigates but right now I'd be wanting a one on one phone call or an email back if I was wanting parts.
In Cali especially every business seems to handle this lock down thing a bit differently. Some have hardly slowed down and some aren't doing anything or only operating with a minimal crew.
I'd be calling or emailing and asking if they have the piece in stock and if they can ship it in a reasonable time. Reasonable might mean on the day the shipping dude shows up to ship the stuff once a week right now. Right now I don't think that it is the least bit unreasonable to ask if they actually have it on the shelf ready to ship.

Steel is getting hard to get these days too., I know a guy that buys steel for a big company, they were limited to how much steel they could buy in Dec, and Jan. Now that can't even order any until Feb 1st.

We just did our kitchen remodel, it took 16 weeks to get a counter top! We were looking at new bar stools and the local store had a 16 week shipping date as well.

Its hard to conduct business right now. Gene

Ok!! It just worked for me for the first time in a couple of weeks. Hopefully, it's the "good" light at the end of the tunnel. Could be it is a Christmas/New Year break. What we should do is band together and let CA know it is an essential business, because we would all die without companies like Rootlieb!! Superior Car Parts was the only source I knew of for top irons. They are gone by all indications. Thanks, everyone!
