deuce frame horns...who sells 'em??

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by alteredpilot, Oct 22, 2004.

  1. okay, so i got this set of bobbed deuce rails as part of a rolling chassis package a while back and its been sitting ever since. the front and rear have been lopped off and replaced with suicide tubular crossmembers, and i'd like to bring it back to life for the next project, but i'm having a hard time finding repop front and rear horns. i remember seeing long sections somewhere a while back but i lost it when my computer crashed. anyone help??

Do you have the dimensions of your frame? Trying to get an idea of where it's been cut...

I'm planning to buy repro rails and bob the front and rear, maybe we can work something out?

  3. i can get them. i'm going home at lunch so maybe i'll go look while i let the dog out for a poop.

  4. allright, the overall length of the bobbed rails is about 93". the front of the frame is bobbed about 22" forward of where the reveal dissappears into the frame, and about 15.5" behind where the kickup begins.

I believe American Stamping out of Mississippi sells any length of the rail you need. They sell it by the foot. If its not them then it's another company in MS. I'll try and find out for sure. I would start by calling them though. AS phone 1-662-895-5300. (Olive Branch, MS.)
