For what it's worth "Davviki" sold a friend of mine a 36' roadster roller package,.... no where near the quality of the display model,... front cross member welded in wrong, doors hit the running boards and only opened about 10",.. Screwed up Differential, and rear axle housing warped,.....

My friend was trying to save himself a bunch of work,... but this thing is truly a turd,...

And you guys know, I try not to speak badly of any Hot Rod company,..... But this was really unacceptable workmanship.

 

LOL thats an old cigar box top. Crooks I assume are a cigars. Found it in a box full of crap somewhere and liked so I keeped it.

Tinman, is stainless steel sheetmetal any tougher to metal-finish than regular sheetmetal? Ive seen your work and I know you are capable of filler-less bodywork. Ive heard stainless sheet can be more brittle?

it can be, smaller hammers, more pissed-off-ed-ness too.

stainless is harder but if you are aware of that going in and plan accordingly its not bad, just more time.

besides, the best zen moments are with hammer in hand and innocent metal under it.

Lots of times a good song and a hammer can make the the world just go away. couple hours later the piece is finished and it seemed like you just started.

other times not so good though.

Vicki is the reason that outfit is failing IMO, she is lucky to live in a garage. She better be an absolute rockin beauty queen to have such a shit mouth attitude to deal with customers the way she does, problem is she is not someone that fits that description or even close.... google her/them........, I have a Davviki chasis and I have first hand experience with them. DO NOT BUY IF YOU WANT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE<

Hey Harmy...where is this building located? It looks fromiliar. I'm not sure where as I've traveled a lot of this country, but for some reason that building looks really fromiliar. I'm thinking when I seen it, or one like it, there was some old vehicles around the outside, kinda scattered about, and might have been some inside the area behind the curtains....
wish I could rememeber where.....I notice your location states Michigan, and that got me to thinking that it may be somewhere in Western Michigan area. I've run around that area with 333 Half Evil, and it may have been when we were out and about..... Cool building for sure.

EDIT* the one I'm thinking about was in an area where there was a pink crosley station wagon up ontop of a sign post at a little used car lot/repair shop....still can't think of the name of the burg/town tho...
