5window I like your idea and creativity, but I was looking for a jeweled light with a 50s look. I may well use your approach on a future project!

Here's some food for thought....my Dialco sample board. Do you know what it takes not to use one of these!

It's been a couple years since you've posted here...still building the coupe? Here's what I did for a dash. I never cared for the stock 33-34 dash and the bottom of my 34 dash was rusted away anyway. I used the top rail of the 34 ford dash and grafted it to the bottom of a 34 chevy standard dash. The dash insert was almost a perfect fit for a Champion gauge cluster turned upside down.

I posted on this thread back in 2014 but I've finally got around to installing the jewel lights on my 51 AD. Here's some pics:

Whats with Radio Shack? They used to be everywhere but they now seem to be all closed in KY. eBay would be a place I'd look.

Radio Shack apparently has closed most of their smaller retail stores. They still have their website. I searched it but couldn't find any lights like this thread is looking for. Maybe some of you who are more savvy can dig up some information from their site.

gimpyshotrods: Any idea what size hole is required for them ? No info on their website.

    Do you sell them?
    Thanks

I do not sell them. I looked into it, and found that I'd have to buy a container load.

I will try to find the hole size. I cannot seem to recall it.

I installed the same type as wimpy shows and it was a pretty good size hole. I used a 1/2 drill bit and I still had to grind the hole a bit bigger. I posted pics of my dash with the jewels.

I think I remember drilling to 9/16", and the filing for fit.
