Always loved the Fregate, my Dad had one when I was a kid. Looking at yours makes me think it really is time to find one of my own. The 'stealth' motor is fabulous. Hope you are able to finish the DS eventually, it is amazing. http://img72.imageshack.us/img72/9957/ds34xo.jpg Not HAMB material? close your eyes and squint at this, it's a Hudson!
For now it's still on the back burner, I'm restoring a 36 chevy 2dr sedan for a friend of mine and building a 69 Charger pro touring for an other and I have to build their cars because they're helping me restore my house. To tell you my Fregate has it's engine ready to drop in for the last 2 years and it's still not done.
Hey, chrisp; Could you be bothered to put the pics back up? If this is the DS/CS that was converted to a 2 door, it still is one of my favorite builds. I really like the look. Only thing better would be as a 2door convert. Id use it for a high-mpg venture, but these are impossible to find around here - & usually missing the bottom 24" due to rust. More than I can rebuild in my limited time. TIA. Marcus...
