Found these two getting ready for the winter. When finally evicted they watched and hissed from the roof of the garage.

I'm restoring a '40 buick convertible at work right now. While we were tearing it down we found a couple combs, a bottle of pink nail polish, a 1960 tassle hanging from the rear view mirror, a senior class schedule, and a few other neat little things. I think the last time it was registered was 1962 in mass. if I remember correctly.. I thought it was pretty cool discovering that this car's last driver was a highschool senior in '60

Lots of things. Odd things. Things I can't speak of...*shudder*

I did find a small box containing three dried out rubbers, they didn't work.

Coolest thing was a cam drive cover from an old Triumph motorcycle, I have it hanging on the basement wall.

I'll have to add that to my notebook of things duct tape can be used for.

Should I peel it off fast, or slow?

  15. ^Someone forgot to let the trunk monkey out.:D

I found was a silver dime and few pennies under the rugs in the '51 Cadillac I had. I also a rotten $20 bill deep in one of trunk side wells in the trunk of the '63 Riviera I had owned back in the 90's. Took it to the bank and gave me a new one.

I found a nice set of long pilers under the engine cowling of a passenger aircraft once, if that counts.

Some places they're called mud daubers (I grew up in Virginia and Oklahoma and that's what we called 'em in both places) and some places call 'em dirt daubers (I lived in Texas and now Arkansas, and that's what they call them both places).

They're wasps. And those nests are a mess to get off cars and garage walls.

You lost the seat of your '66?

  29. The original option punch card, in my 1950 dodge, intact and readable. not that weird in it self, that is until you consider the condition of the car, it sat on a mountain road for 10 years, and was burred up to the windows from a landslide, and had water running through it.

  30. looks like you may need a box of these if your adventures continue [IMG]
