That's so bizzare it's cool! I especially like the center steering! Thanks for the "heads up" pics on this unique build!
If the quality workmanship of that project, doesn't inspire you,you need your head examined. Absolute perfection. If the "Mona Lisa" is a "Masterpiece" painting, that is the automotive equivalent!
Ash, Tell your dad that I think this thing is coming out alright!!!hahaha It looks amazing in the pictures, so I'm sure it's ten fold in person, everyone involved has done an awsome job and the passion, dedication and persistence is paying off in a true work of art. Matt Lesky
Glad to see this being recreated, the engineering on it phenominal. It was a beatiful car 2 years ago when it was at Detroit.
We should all aspire to do so well in all of our projects. I have been watching this one from what hits the HAMB, awe inspiring indeed.
Thats a killer looking car for sure and here is a killer looking 1/8 scale version of the Golden Sub car,I did the wire wheels for this car.Marshall Z built the car from castings .I am curently working on one that will be all hand formed.Chris
What an eye for style! The only parts I see that don't look hand hewn are the rear axle tubes and the front axle (which looks like a MW dragster axle)... but then again, those too are probably made by Dan! Awesome! Sam
OH MAN!!! I wondered what the plan was for that incredible chassis!! Amazing work!! Very inspirational!!
Dad made the front axle out of 41 30 chrome molly... But he said thank you for comparing his work to Mark Williams... A guy down the street in Dearborn build the axle tubes lol (Ford) but they were also modified quiet a bit..
Posie certainly does turns out some very nice quality stuff. As for his style, I kind of think of it as if Liberace were into hot rods. I can respect it but I don't want it in my garage. Now the Webb's on the other hand turn out very nice quality stuff AND it suits my tastes! Hey Ash, I'm the guy that proposed to you in the Ford booth at SEMA a few years ago. Yeah, I know, "which one?"

Had a nice chat with Dan today at the SEMA show. The car is in the Ford booth and quite frankly, pictures just don't do it justice!!!
Good to hear... Because from those pics, I really not digging it as much... To me it looks like the track might be a little too narrow and the front tires are definately way too wide. Still it's an amazing bit of craftsmanship and I stand by my "Most intersting hot rod in the last 30-40 years," comment.
O M F G. That is one of the sickest most awesomly engineered cars I have ever seen. Thank you HAMB gods! -GothY-
