DID this in about two weeks,350 with tunnel ram with muncie 4 speed,i want it!!
Awesome, it really looks cool!!!
like the car, hood scoop not so much
He kinda likes the movie two lane blacktop, hince the scoop.although he called me and said kinda hard to make right turns, said he may remove it...
PLEASE add a front fiberglass bumper....56 57 look ugly without one
That looks tuff! The 'only' thing I would have done differently, is move the front axle forward about 2"...other than that...KILLER!
I see alot of conversions with the same cool wheel up front,no brake just on spindle.Ive never seen them in parts books ,are they hard to find? and if not where?.....................YG
I like it looks cool
Looks good but loose the scoop.
i like the car like the scoop love 57's without the front bumper only thing id do is either put taller tires on the front or 15 inch rims (if it has 14's on it) on the front or lower the front a few inches the front wheels on it in the pic look way too small IMHO
Like the car, kinda like the scoop, looks like a lot of fun.
Looks bad ass
Very nice, always liked the 57 best of the tri-5's.
raise the ass end
looks great! and he did it in two weeks?!
Hell yeah!! Nice car and great change.
looks cool ...
but the front tires are too small
I like the before version better.
Building a "gasser" is kind of passe... especially if it's using new parts like the wheels he went with.
I would have much rather seen a wheel and tire change on the car... and maybe up date the engine compartment with some period pieces than to have a "gasser" that can't back up what it's muscle'n up to do.
My choice would have been original American 5 spokes... 15x6" all the way around.
Polish the lips, paint the centers silver or goldish...
BFGoodrich Silvertown bias plys...
black tuck and roll... Four speed stick, original Sun tach on the dash.
Chrome the glove box for the ladies.
And then some original Vette valve covers... maybe Cal Customs... a C3B4 intake, velocity stack... Mallory dual point with black baklight cap.
Chrome the generator... Vette rams horns painted white...
And a couple strategically placed 60's decals (not 70's-80's stickers) on the 1/4 windows and call it done.
Whats with the Frankenstein looking fuel line?
I like it.....
I like it, I build a lot of gassers, and everyone that does not have one has an opinion. good on dad for gettin it done and enjoying it. all of us build em different, thats what hot rods are all about.
Looks sweet now,but I would lose the grille completly
I really like the black alternator. That's cool!
looks awesome ( i totally agree with dragrcr50 )
Gee mister, a Gasser! How kool! What class does it run? How quick is it?
look's like a very nice ride,good job.
