ok so I've dropped my 64 chevy truck with drop springs all the way around... front is still too high for my tastes...(3" drop springs) so , canm I cut the drop springs say maybe half a coil or so? OR will it screw up the ball joint angle and the steering geometry to the point of no return??

Don't want to do disc brake conversion due to shortage of funds... so drop spindles are out unless somone knows of drop drum spindles...

    flame on... :)

3 inch drop is about all you want in the front of one of those trucks, using coils. Any deeper drop really needs a drop spindle also.

By the way, a stock coil on a 64 truck will net about 3 inches of drop per coil cut off. You really need to cut in one full coil imcrements. Anything less will not allow it to index properly both top and bottom.
