  15. 40 Merc tub, plenty of lights to burn on 6 Volts, better park on a hill for jump starting. Ripples running boards removed blackwalls, factory overrider, spots, fogs headlights six ways to see down the road.

    John Lee I think the correct number of Deluxe Convertible Sedans produced was more like 3561.

    Production Figures
    Total Ford Production for 1939 : 487,031
    Deluxe Convertible Sedans : 3,561
    Deluxe Coupes : 37,326
    Deluxe Station Wagons : 6,155
    Deluxe Tudor Sedans : 144,333

    Dang, very cool. Weren't the '39-'40 4 door convertibles the lowest production vehicles during these years? I just saw someone actually posted the production number. LOL!

    My friend's father has a '39 that I just lust over.

  22. Cut down 2 dr sedan 1932 Ford tub, mighty nice. Proper Duval windshield with the ends tucked in like Doan Spencers, great lookin' .
