Just a memory about the "Plastic Fantastic" question. I'm sure it was a local track announcer thing. But I do remember early '70s at Union Grove Great Lakes Dragaway. The announcer used the "Plastic Fantastic" comment for a Chicago based funny car that was running T&T that night. I remember because soon after that run, a local grudge racer with strobe lights flashing all ever the car ran. The announce announced that the "Spastic Fantastic" was running, heh. The crowd laugh was louder than the open headered car. Mark L

As a kid, the "Pacers" fuel altered was my favorite on the east coast. The "clone" looks spot on, if not a little too polished, but who cares?
I'm glad someone did that so more folks could enjoy it.

Barb Hamilton is a hoot, enjoy talking to her a great deal.
Of course, being a northeastern drag racer during the early sixties thru the mid seventies, the "Filthy Forty" was one of my favorite cars!
Was it even possible to pick up an EDN without the Filthy Fourty, the Pacers, and Bud Faubel in it somewhere?

I am lucky enough to call Rocky my good friend. Everytime they cackle the Boss Hydro i'm usually in the seat. I love that car. Barbara is one of the nicest people that i know. What can you say about the Filthy Forty. I just wish i could have seen it before it was destroyed.

 

I'm loving that stance! Nice car........

 

Miss Blue is a beautiful car. Not one piece of it has been restored. She sounds really nasty too
