I have a '28 coupe I threw together last winter to take my sister to graduation in. Drove it around this usmmer with it's original 'banger. It's going back into the operating room this winter. I picked up a '64 394 Olds for it.

    Pics in my profile.

I've been lurking this thread for a long time. Now that I have the car, I'll chime in. Just started; "unbuilding" the chassis for rust bustin' and weldin'.

It's in pending state right now, waiting just a little longer to get into the new shop to put it all together.

Thanks buddy! It's got a loooong way to go :) I'm excited to see where you take yours!

  11. I think I posted in this thread about 4 years ago. I planned on a heavy chop with a '54 DeSoto 291 Hemi and a ton of Mopar stuff. Well after having it for such a long time I have had many, many incarnations come through my mind.

Well after many different thoughts I have decided on your basic jalopy. Stock height, no chop, no fenders, full hood, built A banger and thats about it.

Thanks to the "banger meet" guys for steering me in the right direction.

I do believe that's where I'm going too. My current plan is to do no more to lower it than to reverse the main leaf eyes and use the 17 inch wires that I already have.......
The banger? I'm going to work at getting some horsepower out of it, build my own headers, higher compression, maybe a magneto for bling, and build a dual carb intake of my own design, since I did the one on my Nash and had such a ball doing it.:D

  22. I'm building a 31 coupe on 32 rails. SBC, T5, and QC.

Picture shows the bare metal body on display at Pistons and Paint. The body is currently at North Texas Customs for olive drab epoxy primer. Picking it up Tuesday.

I'll start a build thread when I mate the body to the frame.

    Hi everyone,

I'm building a '30 coupe with a Y block with 6 carbs, cruisermatic and quickchange. Below is a link to the story on my chassis which you may or may not find interesting. Hopefully the link works.:)
