I would like to work out how many gallons a gas tank will hold. I have limited space between the frame rails and have a couple of options, so need to know which will hold the most. Anybody know how to convert cubic inches into gallons?
    Cheers,
    Stewart.

Buick 231 V6 is a one gallon motor. Lincoln 462 is a two gallon motor.

I don't know how litters fit into all of this.

Google is handy for this stuff, and everyone already knows where to find it. Just type in "X cubic inches in gallons" with X being the number of cubic inches you want converted. It does not look it up, it does the calculations and provides the answer. It does all kinds of conversions and calculations like that.

Length (in inches) X width (in inches) X height (in inches divided by 231 = gallons. I always can remember it by thinking Buick 231 motor, lol.
