Went a few years ago and had a blast! Would love to go back soon. Was talking about heading back this year with the folks but we were kind of wondering the hotel/resturant situation. Are the cities along the coast getting everything together for large touristy type crowds?

9 or 10 of the Casinos have re-opened(thats where I've been working since last oct).very few of the restaurant which were on the beach are open, but there's plenty just a few blocks north. hotels are in short supply. today the weather is prefect, hopefully it will hold out. 4000 cars pre-reg. Two major bridges are still out on hwy 90 so they have to be some extra driving but thats not all bad

I'll be there, or here rather. I've been thrashing on the roadster to get it finished but if nothing else i'll be in my 37 tudor. Things are getting back to normal, but bear in mind the Ocean Springs-Biloxi bridge is out, and will be for at least another year so there will be alternate routes. Beau Rivage hotel is kicking along with the Isle of Capri and Imperial Palace hotels too, among others in Biloxi, so maybe lodging wont be too difficult.

But you will be stunned when you see HWY 90 in Biloxi !!!

I'll be there. I don't have anything old that runs right now though so I will have to park and watch. I'll have a couple of people with me.

My wife wants to join a roller derby team so I will probably be at catastrophes. We need to get all the Hambers together around here.

I was hoping to go over there on Friday (10/6), but it looks like I'll have to work that day and part of the weekend. It's been a couple of years since I've been to CTC. Something always seems to come up that prevents me from going! :(

Looks like its going to be a pretty good show this year, inspite of Katrina.

I'm seeing some neat cars arriving already, If this fall weather holds it will be awesome.

I hear even the Boydster himself is coming...

  14. 5500 Hotel rooms back on line now. What you won't find is any camping space whatsoever. FEMA has grabbed everything. Also, the beaches are open, but the water ain't (no big deal).
