There are two established cruise ins on Thrusday nights in tne CNY area Closest to town is at the Bella Domani restaurant. This is located about 3/4 of a mile east of the I 81 north exit for Taft Rd. (shares a ramp with Hancock Airport.) Turn right at the exit and the look for a white building after a park entrance on the south side of Taft Rd. There is a Quick Fill gas station on the left side just before. A bit further out is the village park adjacent to the Sylvan Beach Amusement Park in Sylvan Beach, NY Located off NY RT 13, north of NY Rt 31. About 35 miles from the host hotel. The Amusment park is has been in place since the early 40's and still retains some of the original rides and booths. If you have kids who don;t want to hang around the cars, this could provide a pleasent diversion for them. There is also a village beach. East end of Oneida lake, sand beach and you need to walk out about a half mile till its over your knees. Last year there were about 400 cars at the Beach and 250 at the Bella Domani. Bella Domani has food and drinks on site, Sylvan Beach has a dozen or so places ranging from Pizza and Deli to full blown sit down restaurants.
