Hi, in Covington, Georgia from today until Sunday - anything happening Hot Rod related, shops worth visiting, drag strips sort of close ? any suggestions ?
Wow I miss that place. Kinda hot this time of the year though. Look for the Sparta police dept. (In the Hear of the Night TV series). The courthouse from the movie "My Cousin Vinnie " is close by in Monticello. "Black Dog" movie has scenes from from nearby Newborn. Use to be a Corvette company in Newborn. They sold Corvette stuff and always had nice cars sitting around. PS. There use to be a po dunk dragstrip near Mansfield. If you meet some old car people they may be able to point you to it. I couldnt ever find it again. DOnt forget to visit Charlie Elliot Wildlife Center. I lived back in the sticks from there 1.5 miles.
