Cover of new R&C

sorry if this is a dumb question, but what is the grille on the 2-tone green chevy? that car looks great. anyone know where i could get one? thanks.

 

I belive that is a 55 Chrysler bar. They sit on top of the bumpers. The rear are narrower & straight & the front is wider & Vee'd.

Yep shoebox is right thats what it is. I have one in my 53 Chevy that has been narrowed about 3 inches and is Vee'd more than stock. Might be interested in letting it go since I'm switching to a vette grille. I'll get some pics and send them to you.

If you have any back issues of R&C, there was a story in the April '02 issue on narrowing a 55 Chrysler bar in a 49 Chevy.
