    Very cool pictures, I spent quite awhile looking at all the details in the 2nd pic. Thanks for taking the time to share them.

    Yea...there are some interesting things for sure. Never seen a 36 grille on a Model A before...that's kinda cool.

    Brave? It is a wonder that any of them lived. No fuel cells, no roll cages, helmets are laughable.

    I was looking at racing stats from back in the day and noticed that drivers were only around for a few years. I asked why this was and was told your luck eventually ran out and you got killed or got out.

    Neat to see how they threw things together for the racecars like in the second pic. I'll try to find more of these.

    Thanks for posting these very cool photos. I was particularly interested in the second photo as it was taken, apparently, at the Hemlock NY Fairgrounds. I live just up the road from Hemlock, NY and never knew that there was anything there that remotely resembled a race track. Anybody got any more info on this place?
