No I don't 31hrg It's one of the hardest things I had to part with. I just moved back to NY (don't ask me why) from Flagstaff AZ I had a 3 yr old crew cab dually I just bought a 70 SS396 AZ car, a 57 Chevy and that Corvette, it was quite a caravan. I just bought a 41' gooseneck tri axle trailer to haul all this stuff back a wife and two kids under 4. I sold off a 41 Caddy 4dr sed. a really nice car with a 429 (I think) Caddy motor in it. I couldn't convince my wife to drive the Chevelle cross country for 5 days. I bought a house here in the Hudson Valley and picked up my 34 Willys coupe I left at my sisters house. Well the bills started getting a bit tough to handle so the Corvette was the low hanging fruit. I did find it in the neighboring state of Massachusetts, that's the picture I went to the car show and the guy took me over to his house and showed me the car. He did repaint it the same color and that's it. I sold it in 1986 and saw it again in 2018.

Pat, that is never fun but I totally understand. I too have had to sell my corvette. 2003, I was in the navy, getting ready to go over seas and sold my ot 69 coupe for way too cheap. But I did keep my black 57 Chevy. I am however hoping to buy a c1 corvette in the next few months. We shall see.

  13. Any of you Fiberglass Aficionados, can explain why Chevy never dropped the 348 or 409 into their premier sports car??

Gene Altizer in his post Anglia days but still running under the S & S Auto parts banner before he started racing funny cars. Not sure if he was running in the /MSP category or as a gasser so I will just put it here.

Allowing for inflation, that would be $45,007.64.
    You can't buy a '63 or a 2020 for that much!

36 1/2 gallon fuel tank? Must have been in place of the passenger seat.

Nope, took up the whole rear end behind the seats. It was fiberglass and is WAY expensive now.

No LB but it looks like they took the convertible top lid deck off and the top. The people are sitting on the floor essentially. Hope it doesn't rain on their parade.

Likely had to remove the convertible top assembly also to fit kids that size.
When my kids were very small in the 70s I would slide the seats forward
and have them sit in the rear. Not very comfortable, but they never complained.
