Corrected 1932 ford gasser

    Well i got so many people telling me it was wrong . I fixed it !!!!!!!!!!
    Redid the lettering and repainted the # DSCF0017.JPG

    DSCF0018.JPG on the front window

    WOW! I looked at the thumbnails without enlarging them, then on further reading of the posts I realized it was a model!

    you maybe correct but my old man in 1959 was runing a 31 ford 5 window fendered with a modified flatie

    I wouldn't put money on that! The lower "Gas" classes had a number of people running flatheads.

    There were classes (H in the Gas division, D in the Altered division in the 60's) specifically for flatheads and inline sixes, so yea, there were folks running them. In fact there were still classes for them in 73, probably later but that's the last rule book I have laying on my desk right now.

    sorry to stir up so much ,, but when i started building it i look on line for days and found a bunch of old vintage gassers that were using a flat head . some with audurn heads .some with ansen blowers ect .. plus i love the look of a flat head

    um, Ed bingelli of Bings speed shop ran a flathead in a willys gasser in the 60s so yes there were flatheads in the gasser wars era

    Gassers are required to have fenders – that would be an altered.
