...here's the first 2 and only Corvairs I've ever sketched...
My first car was a 65 Corvair Corsa and I thought it was a great car.
Sometimes you never know !!!! I have been working on my V8 Corvair for the last few years. The zinc chromate green primer was just to cover up the yellow and other primer spots. I wasn't thrilled about the green ….thought it would be ok until I actually paint it. Over on another social media app, I had joined a V8 Corvair page. One of the guys on the page posted a picture of a Hot Wheels Corvair. He sent one to me. I was not aware of a V8 Hot Wheels Corvair but I am amazed at the how close I came with no knowledge.
I just bought this and now getting her roadworthy. '61 Lakewood 700.
Recent Red accent stripe on the roadster?
I love the Lakewood...perfect!
Outside dining's first night since the lockdown and what do I do ?
Right !!!!!!! Head out to the bar
Well ours made it to the road but a lack of power and a bit of a smoking problem prompted a compression test that netted 2 dead cylinders. So an overhaul is in the not so distant future. But it still made it out for a few photos and a heap of thumbs ups!
I remember that car. It belonged to Bill Burnette from Rossville Ga. He put a Big Block in it.
