The non-believers? Oh I dunno, years of collecting questionable friends I guess :D

As for the Rodders Journals, it's amazing what a little begging will get ya these days ;)

I have over one hundred books on cars. The one I refer to the most is: NEW COMPLETE BOOK OF COLLECTIBLE CARS 1930-80.
Its kinda like a wikipedia on american and foreign collectibles. Sometimes available at large used book stores. It is an excellent quick reference guide. Book is red in color.

    Pimping my pal's books....
If you LOVE hot rod art, you hafta to pick up Volume I and II of Dwayne Vance's "Masters of Chicken Scratch". Dwayne's art and tutorials and a BIG sampling of other artsy types are in both books as well.

No photos, but my coffee table books are:

Coop: The devils advocate (autographed even, best gift from a horrible girlfriend)
    Cash (unauthorized biography type)
The modern Pin Up (lots of great pics and some stories about pinup art)
The Doo Wop era (great stories from and about 50s doo wop singers)

Seems of another couple sitting around, but cant remember names at the moment.

I love the Chicken Skratch book. That one is so awsome, Kustom land is one of my favorites definitely. I completely forgot about the billy gibbons book, that dude is definitely the coolest of the cool!

I keep this one in the bathroom but it's indespensable! More "little page" in size than coffee table book but a super collection of photos. I also have "Malicious Resplendence" by Robt Wms, the Von Dutch book and a couple of the "Custom car" jobs but still want to get "Gasser Wars" & that Chickenscratch book if anybody knows of a reasonable price copy?

  16. Here's a totally shameless plug for my very own brother's [Jangleguy here on the HAMB] first book...just out a few months and it's a great coffee table book. BUY IT! It's a good mo-fo. Double click on the image to read the cover.

Honestly, this is what I have too. '48-51 F series w/'52 supplement, 1962 Meteor, and K/KB series line truck service manual CTS8

The twenty six gasoline stations one I posted earlier is a wishbook. It's on amazon for around $1500

'Gasser Wars' by Larry Davis. Tracks Gassers from the late 50's to the bitter end. And proof to the young 'uns that not all gassers had straight axles.
