My dad has always wanted a 50's Pontiac hood ornament just to have. He finally stepped up and got one and made this cool display box to put it in. He has it in his garage along with a bunch of other cool things! He is very proud of this and I am too. Let me know what you guys think.

As long as I can recall, this type of garage art has always been welcome on the HAMB. Heck, we've had a weekly Friday Art Show for at least five years.

I've always loved the Pontiac Indian Head mascot. I'd love one mounted to a sculptured block of hardwood to sit in my desk at work.

This is the attitude that pisses alot of people off. Everything thats not cookie cutter around here gets criticized to death.

I think thats a great piece of automotive art that I would be thrilled to have on my wall.

  21. I like what your Dad did a lot, in fact I know what I'm going to do with a Packard hood ornament that I"ve owned for years. Great example of why old cars are beautiful.

Thanks everybody. Yeah he has really cool ideas and I thought the members on this site would appreciate it. I would never have thought of that. He is the one I get all my inspiration from, I listen to all of his ideas on how things should be done. He has been a big part in how my car is done and in helping me with it.

You said it. I was just asking a question. See ive posted things on here and get it deleted. This dosnt? For instance: i posted pictures of billetproof and it gets deleted. Why? No one else did at the time. Oh well.

it looks great, but wouldn't it be better in art and inspiration, then more people would see it and no one could complain, he did a great job on that. :) for the whiner, there's an entire thread called garage art post your's up, all these old cars are art, thats why he went to so much trouble to make that. It's sad to see that and think Pontiac is gone though.

Yes I was wanting it to be in art and inspiration but couldn't figure out how to do that. I am still new on here and trying to figure this site out, sorry if I posted this in the wrong section.

Edit: I just seen how to add in the prefix for Art and Inspiration. I will do better next time!
