The front plate on my 1963 fairlane is a 1982 wi FINK plate, it belongs to my wi bread 1953 chevy 2dr sedan, but it goes on what ever runs...
Seen a reg. issue on a new beetle with a bunch of young kids the other day that read WIL 69. Had to laugh at that.
Saw these on a website I watch frequently and had to laugh. <a href="http://failblog.org/2008/10/13/license-plate-fail-2/"><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-6434" title="fail-owned-virginia-license-plate-fail" src="http://failblog.wordpress.com/files/2008/10/fail-owned-virginia-license-plate-fail.jpg" alt="fail owned pwned pictures" /></a><br />see more Epic Fails <br />see more Epic Fails
Cool plates; I noticed a couple of plates from my home state of Ohio. In Ohio a vehicle achieves the status of an antique after 25 years, making it eligable for historical plates. Ohio has a same year plate program meaning you can apply the same year plate to the year the vehicle was built for few bucks more. Now a'int that COOL!. If I can do this right I'll try to provide a pix of my 57 Bel-Air with it's same year plate. I was able to modify an original set of plates to reflect my initials and the year of the car. J1957V Now ain't that just 2-COOL twice.
Hey Preacher, you started this thread almost 1000 posts ago!!! That plate should read "2 KOOL". I do dig the 666 plate...that would be right for me once I go all evil!!! My favorite one the DMV would not give me because of interpetation reasons it could have been vulgar, so I went back and got 3M TA3 When I got it I told them I sold 3M brand striping tape and the TA3 was a new stripe tape line. Little did they know that when the plate was viewed by car in front of me in thier rear view mirrors it reads like EAT ME !!! I actually had a county cop stop me and tell me he thought that plate was the funniest thing he'd ever seen!
Currently on my turbocharged 4 cyl Mustang; soon to be transferred (along with the motor) to my '27 roadster!
Here is one from OHIO that I own. It is a 1928 plate . I was told that the star indicated a police plate. I have not seen another like it.
