I saw this neat little truck and noticed the headers, the cap on the forward end of the tube is trick as hell.

I was looking through one of my history books (can't remember the name...salt flats stuff) for paint ideas last night. There was a car in it with similar headers, but instead of being capped in front, they were open. The idea was the air flowing through at speed would create a vacuum effect, to help evacuate exhaust gases. Wonder if that was his inspiration too?

I have a metal workers catolog with domed caps in them, if anybody want to know where to get them.
