    Not exactly HAMB friendly, but this is my Cosworth DFX motor table. The motor came out of Rick Mear's IndyCar after he qualified on the pole with it at Indy in 1982 at 207.004MPH.

    I have posted this pic before but as this thread is dedicated to the subject here it is again.
    The block came from Gary Scelzi's Winston top fuel car that he crashed at Topeka in 1999. Just about everything below the camshaft is gone as the rotating assembly decided to part company with the rest of the motor. I helped Brad Hadman and Frank and Scott Parks repair/rebuild the chassis so that Gary could race on Sunday and Alan Johnson gave me the block as a memento. The base is black anodized aluminum with a rebate milled into it for the mirror.
