Congratulate me - That's Associate 4t64rd to you!

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by 4t64rd, Dec 13, 2006.

  1. I'm finally finished the degree I started in 1983 (I took a few years off... 1987 to 2003). It was more important for me to finish the something than the degree itself.

I'm gonna walk with a bunch of whipper-snappers in a big blue dress on Saturday at 10 am at Tropicana Field. Party at my house at 7pm. PM if you wanna come!:D

I put working on my '46 on hold since '03 and I have the little woman's blessing now to finish it now that school is done.

    The best part?!? I'm getting a Hobart 187 as a graduation present!:D :D :D

    P.S. I'm 43 y.o. and have been worked 40+ hour a week jobs since June of '82.

Congrats!!!! I know how you feel. I'm still working towards my degree that I started in '96.

Now go out and start earning that extra $20K that the studies say you should be able to reel in....

I don't know about that. The folks at various beer companies have been slowly taking bits of mine since I was in school...

Congratulations. An education was probably the best thing I ever bought myself (although some hot rods have run pretty close seconds....).

Congrats Mike, going back to school is a difficult thing to do, once you've been out for a while. Good Job!

Congrats on the degree. I got a certificate from McDonalds that says I can work the drive through. "Would you like fries with that shake?"

I have a BA in Int'l Relations, did pretty damn good myself. A degree in anything can open doors that were heretofore closed. I hope that happens for you.
