clearance question. help!!!!

    what is a good clearance for rear axle travel from rear end housing to the bottom of the floor? how many inch's of travel will i need? 2? 3? 4?

    im running a model a leaf spring behind the rearend.planing on running regular tube shocks
     
  8. Friend's car in my home garage for mods, 1 is not the number. Depending on the roads and driver's attention, 3 should be good. Driver's attention is very important.

    I would and do use some sort of bump stop not the shocks to limit compression. I've broke a few shocks that way. I have about 3" in rear of my 29.
