Sorry about the "Motion Pictures" prefix. I got some wheel bearing grease on one. What do you use to remove it? What do you use for general cleaning purposes? Thanks!
If they get scratches, WD 40 on a 3 M green pad. In a swirlling motion to follow the lines, fairly deep scratches will disapear with little effort. For heavy grease, a dab of carb cleaner on a rag.
I use a combination of brake cleaner and windex; brake cleaner to get it degreased, then windex to finish the job. Newsprint isn't bad for cleaning, either. Not too aggressive, but has just enough teeth to help clean the aluminum.
